When converting your Word 2007 document to PowerPoint 2007 it's best to have your document in Outline format. This means you'll want to use Word's default Header Styles so your Headings in Word are identified by PowerPoint as the title headings for each slide. For example, let's say you have 100 pages and you want to give a presentation highlighting the key topics. Most presentations contain short, key headings that the presenter can emphasize to his audience without reading all 100 pages. Hence, taking a part of Word's outline and converting it into PowerPoint. First you'll need to add "Send to Microsoft Office PowerPoint" button to your Quick Access Toolbar.
