Office 2007 Training Video Reviews
"I recently purchased the Office 2007 training videos (Full set/download version) as I am responsible for bringing 50 users at my school up to speed on 2007 as our District makes its transition. I am also seeking Microsoft Master Trainer certification as well. I have been very pleased with the quality and the comprehensive nature of the videos and have passed my Word and PowerPoint Certification tests on the first try largely due to this product. I am now working through Outlook and Excel. I appreciate the clarity of the videos and how it offers multiple ways to accomplish all tasks, pointing the user towards the shortest and most efficient solution. Being that the videos average about 3 minutes, I can fit learning and refreshers into my day in small increments if needed. Very convenient.
One of the things I most appreciate about the product is how it explains the rationale for functions that I do not ordinarily use, giving me insight into why I may want to use these functions. This also helps to ground my learning to "real life" situations which helps me have a more comprehensive understanding of the function, and the why and how. I am very pleased with the product and find it an affordable and efficient way to quickly come up to speed on Office 2007 which has a significantly different look and feel from Office 03."

"I discovered this website through my search for video training for Office 2007 on Amazon.com. I discovered who Kirt Kershaw was and looked him up on a search engine, which led me to this site. I am looking for a comprehensive program that will take me from beginner to advanced proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, or at least Word, Powerpoint, and Excel. I am also looking for a training program for Publisher, though I see that this is not offered on this website.
I must say that I am very impressed with Mr. Kershaw's credentials and he seems to be the most credible of all trainers offering videos online. No one else seems to have the sort of certification and training that he has, nor the praise that has been accorded him in many places.
My money is important to me and I am looking for the very best product on the market for mastering Office 2007 as a relative beginner. I used Word throughout my college career to construct basic documents but other than that know very little about the applications that make up Office. Now that I am in the workforce, I find it incredibly important to have a mastery of Office applications. So my question is whether or not this program and its contents are designed with a relative beginner in mind, or will the content be overwhelming for someone with very little knowledge? To teach so much information in a concise and understandable way is truly a gift. I want to be able to master these products so that I can know the "ins and outs" of them and be able to use them for all that they are worth. I like the idea of learning visually because I believe that learning solely from books would be tedious in the extreme. My career and ability to market myself depend on my knowledge of Microsoft Office and so I hope that this program is the right one for me as a relative beginner.
There are so many products on the market, and it is important to evaluate sources and authors.
I look forward to hearing any feedback you might have on my inquiries."

"I have educated myself by reading books and watching training videos that I have both purchased and have taken on line. I have taken many video training programs in the past and I have all the Microsoft office books, including both Excel and Access Bibles. I thought I was pretty good using Microsoft office products and I created some very impressive spreadsheets and databases using Excel and Access.
Then one day when surfing for more advanced training I came across [...], by Kirt Kershaw of Dream Force LLC who offered comprehensive training on all Microsoft office programs, Office 2007 ,Project 2007 , and Windows 7 Levels 1 & 2 training videos with two or three different levels , ranging from beginners to advanced. Their breakdown listing of levels looked quite extensive, so I purchased the training videos for Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
These turned out to be the best investments I have made. I have since purchased the entire collection of Kirt Kershaw training programs include the latest Microsoft Windows 7 which I just upgraded to from Windows XP. It quickly brought me up to speed with Microsoft new operation system.
Even if you are already knowledgeable in using the Microsoft programs, you can still learn from these videos. I have watched them all from level 1 to level III, and I learned new techniques and time-saving tips that I've missed and did not know from other training videos.
Kirt Kershaw training videos are the best out there, and his teaching style and the level of detail are unmatched in my opinion. He breaks it down and explains in detail with real world examples. Even if you have limited or no experience using the Microsoft video training programs by Kirt from DreamForce LLC you will learn them and soon master them and become the go to person in how to use the Microsoft program you are learning.
The videos are broken down are into small and short lessons. You learn at your own pace. Even after watching the training videos, I still refer back to them often as you do a reference book when you need a refresher course or just want to review something that you haven't done in a while or for review if you didn't master them the first time.
I highly recommend, Kirt Kershaw of Dream Force LLC., training videos to anyone who is just starting out, or wants to be more proficient with the Microsoft office suite, or starting up to the new Microsoft Windows 7 operating system.
You will soon become an expert and the go to person from friends and family. Keep up the good work Kirt Kershaw and please keep those video training programs coming."

"Hi Kirt,
Nearly finished level 3 on excel 2007; good job! Would it be right to say, that level 3 still only scratches the surface of excel....there are so may formulae that could be used? Having said that, your excel course is excellent, well designed and prepared...i still have 3 modules in level 3 to finish, but so far so good :)
Have you any distribution network to get these disks to Europe and beyond!...the potential market for your product is huge!
Finally have you any disks on how to design/develop a website?"
Paul B. - Ireland
"I am sitting outside watching the training videos today! They are so helpful and I have
mentioned them to others.

"I have used training videos from many authors but in my opinion training videos by Dreamforce (Kirt Kershaw) is the best. It is highly educative, filled with practical approach and easy to understand. I can recommend this product to any one."

"You came recommended, so I look forward to the hands-on approach."

"Your videos are wonderful! This product is so easy to use and actually delivers what it advertises! It is broken down into nice small sections that cover a specific topic (about 8 minutes average) so you can either go through from start to finish or go directly to the section you want to learn about. You can stop and start at any point without having to search for what you want - repeat a section if you want, or go on to another section. It gives you the chance to absorb the information at your own pace and shows you step by step how to do things. Been using Word 2007 for several years and had no idea there were so many features I never even knew were available - love the shortcuts. Thank you so much for putting together such a comprehensive training at a steal of a price. Can't beat it! I'm sure it will make a nice reference for review later on too. Looking forward to learning the ins and outs of Windows 7. Microsoft has some cool features in their software, but I imagine like me, very few "average users" utilize them simply because they don't know they are there. Your trainings open up a whole new world of possibilities!"
Janet A. - New Mexico
"I wanted to thank you because as of last Friday, I passed and receive certification as a Microsoft Certified Application Specialist in Excel 2007, Word 2007 and Powerpoint 2007, thanks mainly to your Training videos. While I cannot divulge details of the exam, I believe that watching your very comprehensive videos on the applications provided me with clear information and guidance on all the topics, allowing me to pass the exams. I found your videos to clear, concise and covered the topics in a complete manner. Additionally, by breaking the videos into short topics, you allow the user to absorb the information rather giving too much information. Having watched the videos, I was able to replicate the tasks illustrated and I learned more quickly than reading manuals. I also agree that your training videos indeed contain all the information needed to pass the MCAS exam. I will definitely be coming back to your site to learn Microsoft Office 2010."
Matthew W. - Barbados
"If you are looking to become an expert in any of the Microsoft office suites, for example Excel, Word and Access 2007, then Kirt Kershaw of Dream Force is the man. I bought all three of his video tutorials on Excel, Access, and Word 2007 and my skills have improved tremendously. I am now contacted by many of my co-workers when they need help on how certain tasks can be accomplished with minimal struggle. I learned most of my skills from watching the video clips by Kirt, explaining in simple, plain language how one can use the applications. Another good thing about Kirt's training videos is that they are cheap compared to other tutorials which are less detailed and more expensive. It is no exaggeration when I say that investing in these tutorials is comparable to investing in a long-term intangible assets. The knowledge you gain from these lessons are within you, but people will come to know your skills when they know or see you using the applications with considerable ease. Good luck to all who will like to try these lessons, and I am so sure will get your money's worth."
Foday C. - California
"Kirt, I really liked your Office 2007 video training. Just out of curiosity. Are you going to have Office 2010 training videos?"
Thomas R. - Pennsylvania
"Great resource to have on hand! One of the main reasons I bought these videos was because of how organized the content was. There are certain MS Office skills that I already have and this level of organization allowed me to jump right to the material that I wasn't yet familiar with. The trainings give good, practical examples of how to use specific MS Office features for tasks that might come up at work or with an organization. I highly recommend these videos. Nice job on all of the trainings!"
Lauren T. - Washington
"Honestly, the quality of your computer training materials has impressed me. I'm looking forward to learning Office 2010. Thanks."
Elia G. - Canada
"Hi Kirt, I received my office 2007 series a few days ago and I have been learning ever since. I LOVE how the videos are not real long, so it's managable to watch one video if I have only a few minutes here and there. At first I was worried how fast you talk, but I am not having any issues with it at all. I would much rather have it at your speed than someone who spoke REAL slow - it sure would take a long time to go thru the videos. Can't wait to learn more and more!! Thanks again!!!"
Karan A. - Ohio
"Fantastic! I purchased the full set of Office 2007 Training DVDs a few months back. I've watched Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project so far, because these are the ones I use the most at work and at home. I loaded all of them on a thumb drive and plugged it into one of the USB jacks in the back of my big screen TV. Then I sit on the couch and watch with my laptop. I usually do a combination of watching, pausing, taking notes, and trying out whatever new feature of whichever software I'm learning about is being demonstrated. The video is crystal clear and it is always a full screen view of the teacher's desktop. These are the first software training videos I've purchased, so I can't really compare them to others that may be out there, but I can tell you these videos are absolutely phenomenal. I absolutely love watching them. The information is presented in a way that makes everything very easy to understand. The pace is exactly right. The length of each segment is perfect and when a topic calls for more coverage, then it is simply split into two or more segments. In one way, the dialog comes off as scripted, in that it is so perfectly concise and clear that I have to believe the teacher put many many hours into documenting exactly what he was going to say and do, yet at the same time it does not feel like a classroom but rather like you are sitting next to a friend who has mastered a tool and is there showing you everything about it. Only this friend is also very skilled at communicating what he knows. I don't think there was one time I got lost as he was "clicking around". This is something that I normally experience in live classes I've attended at work. I think because this teacher is careful to narrate every movement of the cursor on the screen. Even when he clicks off of a window, he will say, "Click off in a blank space". It seems like a trivial thing, but the result is that even though the material is coming at you in a rapid fashion, you never get lost. These videos exceeded my expectations in every way."
