Word 2007 Defaults at best for previous users of Word can be annoying. For example, one of the new defaults is the text or font called Calibri. In addition to the new font is the extra paragraph spacing. You won't get the single paragraph spacing after you hit enter on the keyboard unless you change Word's defaults. By the way if you do change the defaults of Word 2007 to your own customized single paragraph spacing and font of say Arial or Times New Roman, the Themes feature on the Page Layout tab won't work.
