WordArt in Word 2007 is basically fancy text with attitude. It's text with a style that will almost grab anybody's attention and typically used for heading of documents. To create or insert WordArt on the Ribbon click the Insert Tab, to Text group and click WordArt button (has a tipping letter A next to it). Select from a gallery of sample WordArt and click on the one you like, but keeping in mind that you can change the color, depth and shadow later. Next it'll open up a prompt window for you to type in the text that it'll apply your WordArt to and click OK. After its inserted its contextual WordArt Tools Formatting Tab will appear on the Ribbon for you to make cool change to your WordArt!
