Probably one of the biggest reasons to change your User Information when using Word 2007 is if you review other Word documents and want to keep track of who reviewed it. For example, by default your Word 2007's user name will most likely be the name of the manufacturer of your computer like Dell or HP. So if you or somebody else is tracking who made changes in the document it's most likely not good for everyone to have Dell or HP as the user, but their own names. To change and personalize your copy of Microsoft Word (this will also personalize any other Office programs you have in additiona to Word), click Word Office logo to Word Options in Popular category.
