New to Word 2007 are built-in text boxes with soft colors and clarity of form. Text boxes allows you to put text into a box and drag that box around your document, floating your text as it were. Even so your fee floating text in the text box can be formatted to have text outside the text box, wrap around the text box. The main purpose of text boxes is to pull focus off the main page, or part of a thought that isn't related to the main text on a page like and advertisement. To insert a text box, on the Ribbon click the Insert Tab, to Text group and click the Text Box button to any built-in boxes viewable in the gallery, or click the "Draw Text Box" to draw your own.
