Restrict Access to your Word 2007 documents! Unlike protecting parts of your documents, with Restricting Access you are setting up to all or nothing with what a user can access or do to your document. For example, there are three set levels of access to your restricted document: Read, Change (read, edit, save as) and Full Control. You'll also want to know that in order to user this feature you have to sign up for the free trial service from Microsoft, which includes signing up for a .NET Passport. Though the free trial service at the time was meaning that it will always be free, that is until they decide to start charging a fee. I'm not sure what they're saying, but that's the deal!
