If you're looking to chart your organization into a hierarchical structure of CEO, VP and subordinates, Word 2007 has the basics to chart it. On the Insert Tab click, in the Illustrations group and click SmartArt button and select Hierarchy category, and from the available lists of Organizational Charts double click one. Once inserted the SmartArt contextual Tabs both: Design and Format on the Ribbon. If you don't see the Tabs then be sure you've selected the or clicked on one of the org chart boxes and start typing. While you can use the contextual Tabs for design and formatting, remember you can almost always right click on the boxes at a shortcut.
