If you're doing a presentation from Word 2007 and you want to type in mathematical equations, know that Word has a lot of mathematical symbols you can use to type your equations. Word won't calculate them, but again you can atleast present them in printed format. From Ribbon click on Insert Tab, in Symbols group click on arrow to the right of the Equations button, and either select from the built-in gallery or click Insert New Equation. Clicking directly on the Equation button will automatically insert a new equation, which is nothing more than a blank field, but give you an additional Tab on the Ribbon called Equation Design Tools to insert equation symbols.
