Some of the advanced features you can do after drawing your shapes in Word 2007 includes adding text to your shapes, gradient colors or pictures and wrapping text around your shapes. First off you can add text within the shapes with a simple right click on the shape to add text, and start typing. Gradient colors are simple too, but first you'll obviously need to select your shape so the it's contextual Format Drawing Tools Tab will appear on the Ribbon. Then go its Shape Styles group and click the arrow to the right of the paint bucket, to Gradients, to More Gradients. On the Gradient Tab select two colors and have fun choosing here the variants as well and then click OK!
