Windows Vista Ultimate has what's call the Tablet PC Input Panel Toolbar. This "Input" is for those who have a screen like a Tablet PC that users can use what's called a "Stylus" or a pen like instrument to write on their Tablet PC's screen, and in turn will interpret your chicken scratch into actual text that can then be saved in a Word document, or whatever program you have opened at the same time as your writing in your Tablet PC Input Panel. You can do this on any PC that has Vista Ultimate, however if you have a non-interactive monitor or LCD screen then the best you can do when writing is with your mouse, or touch pad and that's not easy to do!
