What are Sidebar Gadgets and how do I add one to my Windows Vista Sidebar? Gadgets are information at a glance tools. For example, you can have a Weather gadget for you to know your local temperature at a glance. Other Gadgets include sticky notes where you can type in electronic notes on your gadget, stock quote gadgets (though they have a 20 minute delay) and more gadgets are available online. To add a gadget to your Sidebar simply right click an blank area on your Sidebar to Add Gadget. You'll see a list of Gadgets you can add to your Sidebar. You'll also see a link where you can view more Gadgets online. Some Gadgets also come with additional, customizable options.
