What's new in Windows Vista? What is a Sidebar and what are the Gadgets that are installed on the Sidebar? The Sidebar is a transparent toolbar that store what are called "Gadgets." Gadgets are short and to the point data, or info seekers and are specialized. For example, you can install the Weather gadget onto your sidebar that can give you your local weather instantly. Pretty cool, huh?! Additionally, you can add a mini slide show of pictures to help entertain you during your day. You can even customize it to do a presentation on your own pictures and not the Windows default pictures. Additional gadgets include stocks, notepad and more available online!
