How do I change the pictures on my Desktop, or background in Windows Vista. The wallpaper or pictures on your computer's Desktop can be changed with a simple right click in a blank area on your Desktop, to Personalize and click Desktop Background, click on the Location arrow and select Windows Wallpapers. Here you can select from some default images that have been pre-installed on your computer. You can also click the Browse button and look through your computer to find your own family photos and double-click on one. Additionally, you have the options at the bottom of this screen to position your image on your Desktop's background.
