Your Windows Vista Start Menu is basically nothing more than a bunch of shortcuts to other programs or files stored throughout your computer. If you have a favorite program, or a recently created file you can create a shortcut and add it to your Start Menu. Where in the Start Menu? When you click on Windows Vista Start button you'll first see a shortcut menu divided in to two sections: left and right. The left section is divided a top and bottom section. The top section are for shortcuts that you want to always appear when needed, versus the bottom section where it contains the most recent programs.
