There are many ways to copy and paste your text within WordPad or even Microsoft's more power word processing program Word. First select the text you'd like to copy, either by clicking and dragging to select the text or double clicking to select a word or triple clicking to select a paragraph. Then right click on your selection and in the pop up menu left click on Copy. Then move your mouse to another part of your document you'd like to paste your copied text into, click to place your flashing cursor down and then right click in same area and left click in the shortcut menu Paste. You can also use the tools of copying and pasting on the toolbars or within the menus.
