What is the Workspace feature in Excel 2007? It's a feature that allows you to save more than one workbook into a package at the same time. For example, say you have an Excel workbook for your Quarter 1 sales and then another for Quarter 2 and so on. Instead of having to open up each workbook separately you can open them all at once, then save them into a workspace. Meaning you can open up the workspace file and all the workbooks you saved into this workspace file will open up together. The workspace file has the extension of .XLW.
