How do I update, or modify the Workbook Properties in Excel 2007? First of all the Workbook Properties contain elements describing the purpose of the Workbook. Other elements are like keywords you can add to the properties to help users, when it comes for later searches to quickly find the workbook, have additional key terms for Windows to find your Workbook. Also, anything else you'd like to be noted about your Workbook, but don't want it displayed on the worksheets themselves. To quickly remove any elements hidden or contained within the Properties you can use the Inspect Document feature, where it can quickly delete all this information for you.
