How do I customize the toolbar in Excel 2007? What is the Quick Access Toolbar? The only toolbar that you can customize in Excel 2007 is the Quick Access Toolbar. It's a small toolbar just right above the Ribbon. To add or remove buttons to this toolbar you can simply right click. Right click on the button you want to remove and select remove, or right click on the QAT and select Customize and then choose from the list of Popular Commands, or change this to view "All Commands."
