How do I merge data from all workbooks into one in Excel 2007? First of all the workbook has to be a shared derivative or a copy of the original shared workbook; otherwise, you won't be able to merge the workbooks together. Reason being is that the structure of the database has to be built the same, the only difference of course can be the data. If the structure is different then Excel would have a fit trying to keep track of all the different places you stuffed data in one workbook and trying to compare that to the structure in another.
