How do I link Excel 2007 workbooks together? First of all when you link a workbook it's typically referred to as linking data together. For example, say you have some number in you Quarter 1 workbook that you'd like to have displayed automatically in your 2010 workbook, or whatever year you choose. To link the data simply press the equals key on the keyboard and then go into the Quarter 1 workbook, meaning you have the Quarter 1 workbook already open, and then select the range of data by clicking and dragging and then hit enter on the keyboard to accept it! Once done you will receive automatically any changes made in Quarter 1 into your 2010 Excel workbook!
