What is the Formula Auditing feature in Excel 2007? The Formula Auditing feature can help trace the values that formulas are dependent upon. For example, say you are using a formula that is using data form many cells spread through your workbook. With one click you can trace a line from all the cells to the formula, so you can visual trace the line back to the data that the formula is dependent upon. Because without those dependent cells that contain value, you don't have a formula. You can trace precedent and errors. The errors would be things like a cell that contains a zero and is trying to divide by it i.e. the error #DIV/0 error. See our training videos!
