What is an Update Values Query in Access 2007? The Update Values Query allows you to make changes of values in a specified table with your specified Criteria. Say you want to increase the cost of all your products by 5%. In your Select Query you'll change that query from Select to Update by clicking on the Update button the Ribbon. Then down below in the grid you'll find the Update row. In our Access training videos we'll show you how to take your products field and with your update field multiply by 5%. Once the query is ran it'll automatically update all the products. Which is easier than going to each record and manually updating the fields yourself!
