What is a Subquery and how do I create one in Access 2007? A Subquery, also known as an Inner Query, is a query contained within an Outer Query. In other words, you create a basic query, and then go back into that query's Design view, and in a Criteria field you type in some code that basically queries your data. So you have your original "Outer" query, and then with some code you type in the "Outer" query, you've just created an Inner query, or a query within a query. A syntax for an inner query, or a code would include the" In" a Table, "where" a field equals specified data.
