What is a Subform and how do I use one in Access 2007? A Subform is inserting a form into another form, and linking or relating those forms during the process. In other words, if there're no related fields between two forms then it's best to set them up so there are i.e. a relationship - see our relationships training video we have for easy to follow instructions. Put another way, you'll want to make sure forms are linked or again "related" through some field so all records displayed in the subform are related to current records displayed in the Main form. Also, although subforms reside inside the Main form they act separate from one another. |
