What is a Make Table Query and how to I use this in Access 2007? The Make Table Query allows you to insert records from a query into a new table. You can simply open up a Select Query, or create one if you haven't already, and set the criteria for your query of all the table your query is based upon in order to create your new table with a combo of fields. Once set then up on the Ribbon, on the Design Tab, go to the Query Type group and click on the Make Table button. Then type in the name of your new table i.e. tblMyTable and click ok. Now why name a table with the three letter prefix of tbl? In other screens you'll need to know if it's a Table with tbl or Query qry etc. |
