How do I customize the controls in a Report, in Access 2007? What is a control? It's a field that is linked to and pulls data in from a table. Let's say you have a control that's pulling in data of Costs. Say the cost your company pays for many products. You can then format that control to appear in a Currency format, where it includes the dollar sign and two decimal places. You can include formatting for date fields where you can choose to set it Short or Long Dates. To make these changes you'll first want to select the Control in the Design View of the Report, and then bring up its Properties, or the Property Sheet, on the All Tab, and click the Format arrow to your choice! |
