How do I export a Access 2007 Report into a CSV file? A CSV file is a comma separated value file. Where all the data in the report is organized and separated by commas. These files can then be more easily accepted into other programs in the CSV file format. In other words, the formatting or coding layer gets stripped away and leaves a data file only. This CSV file can at the very least be opened up an viewed in Excel 2007. In other words, you can export your report to a CSV file, and then open up the CSV file in Excel and do with the data as you would with any data you add to Excel. The export feature is located on the External Data tab, found on the Ribbon!
