What is a Delete Query and how does it work in Access 2007? A Delete Query is a query that can delete records from specified tables. Well, if you can delete records inside a table itself, then why would you even bother with a query? Remember, the whole purpose of a query is to be able to use criteria to target and lock in on specific records, and across many tables too! So instead of wasting time going from table to table and trying to delete records, you can do it all from within one screen. Once you've delete your records within the query, and say you've left your table open... You may notice code in place of the deleted record. That only means you need to refresh your table. |
