What is an Append Query and how does it work in Access 2007? And Append Query allows you to add a record from one time into another. Also, the Append Query must have matching field names and data type when adding a record from one table into another. If you don't match the fields with both tables then Access will ignore those unmatched fields and again only append or add those that do. When you append records from one table to another, it's helpful to keep those tables closed while you append. Otherwise, don't worry if it appears the append didn't work, because you left open tables need to be refreshed and you can do that by closing them and reopening them. |
