Templates in Word 2007 are pre built forms like faxes, where you can overwrite the default with your own text of who you'll be faxing to. In addition, Word 2007 has Template Wizards that will ask you questions in so many steps, and then after you answer them Word will create a form based upon your input. To create a new document based upon one of many Word's 2007 templates, including any Template Wizards, click on Word's Office logo button to New, select a category and then double click on a desired template or template wizard. Once the template is up you can again change the face of it by either adding your own text, or overwriting Word's default text.
