Create and Save Word 2007 Documents

Creating Saving Documents in Word 2007 is basically the same process as in previous versions of Word. For example, the only difference is that Word 2007 no longer has menus, where previously you'd click on the File menu to Save or Save As. Now the only menu you have is the accessed via the Office Logo button found in the upper-left coner of Word 2007's document. Click on the logo and you'll see it's similar to the File menu found in Word 2003, XP and 2000. Of course there was always the Standard toolbar in previous version of Word with a Save button too, and you can find the save button on that little tiny toolbar just above the Office logo button called the

Quick Access Toolbar or QAT. The QAT gives you only three buttons: undo, redo and save, but it is customizeable to add a few buttons like: print and new page. So where's the create a new blank page button in Word 2007? There's two places. For simply adding a new blank page goto the the Insert tab in the Pages group and click Blank Page, or you can click the Office Logo button to New and click Create. Doing it from the Office Logo button opens up a slew of templates including a blank page template, and by default its selected so all you have to do is click create.
