Word 2007 Clipboard

The Clipboard in Word 2007 is basically used for large projects of copying and cutting text or objects in Word. If you already know how to copy, cut and paste in Word you're half way there! You see every time you cut or copy text you're actually cutting or copying to the clipboard without knowing it. Word needs to remember your copied or cut text to be pasted later, and the Clipboard retains that until you close out of Word of course. However, if you know how to un hide Word's Clipboard you can take full advantage of it's ability to copy or cut up to 24 elements at a time. Elements meaning parts of text and or objects. Say for example in your document you have a few sentences

located in separate paragraphs. First open up your Clipboard. Next you'll notice as you copy each sentence, with the Clipboard open, it will copy them as separate items. So when you open up your second document you can open up it's Clipboard and it will contain all your items you've copied from your first document. So the good news is you can have up to 24 items you can paste from the viewable Clipboard in your second document, without having to toggle back and forth between your two open documents copying and pasting one item at a time.
