By default Word 2007 uses the font Calibri, but some of you like me may not like this type of new font when creating Word documents. Not only can you change the default font, but also the default margins and paragraph control. To change the default font, for example, click on the Home Tab, to Font group and click its expandable dialogue box button (the little tiny arrow in the lower-right corner of the group), and the font window opens up. In this font window go ahead and select the font you'd like to be the default every time you open up Word or create a new blank Word document, then click the Default button and click Yes button to have this affect all new documents.
