Access 2007 - is a database management software. Mostly used by small to medium size businesses who want to keep track of their data i.e. client information like names, addresses, or inventory of their products etc.
With the new Ribbon replacing the toolbars in Access 2007, you may find it easier to navigate and find what you're looking. Icons are larger and easier to identify. |

Excel 2007 - is a spreadsheet or page with a bunch of rectangular cells. Each cell can be used to store data, to sort of filter in groups like a database, or used to calculate other cells containing numbers with formulas or functions.
A nice new feature to Excel 2007 is the expandable Formula bar, allowing user to view and work in a larger area, from a single cell. |

Outlook 2007 - can not only send and receive emails, but adds more functionality with creating Tasks for yourself or assign to others co-workers, Contacts to keep track of clients, Appointments or a Calendar to schedule your appointments to, and even a Journal.
Nothing has change in Outlook 2007 in that there are no Ribbons replacing toolbars, but a new To-Do bar! |
